Apply for housing in 4 easy steps!

1. Review our housing contract policies:

2. Complete a Housing Contract.

Complete the online application here OR fill out the printable contract and email it to housing@cityu.edu.

3. Pay the $300 housing administrative fee.

There are several ways to arrange payment of your non-refundable housing administrative fee:

  • Complete the online application including PayPal credit card payment.
  • Contact the business office at 800.426.5596 ext. 4910 or businessoffice@cityu.edu to arrange a wire transfer.
  • Mail a check or money order with your housing application.

4. Review Housing and Residence Life Immunization Policy 

All students living in our residence hall are required to be immunized against measles and meningitis. Proof of immunizations must be provided no later than one week after arrival. Students may choose to opt out based on religious, medical, or personal beliefs. Contact housing@cityu.edu for more information.

I have not received my acceptance letter or student visa yet. When can I apply for housing?

Housing is assigned based upon the date your housing application is received and your administrative fee paid. You are encouraged to apply for the residence hall to secure your room when you submit your application for admission to the university.

If you would prefer to wait until your university application is accepted or your student visa is approved, we will accept your housing application at any time. However, the earlier you submit your housing application, the more likely you are to be able to secure your space.

I’m having trouble with the online application! What do I do?
